What are the differences between colonial and multicellular organization?

Colonial= single cell, able to survive on its own living with
many other cells of the same kind. Ex. bacteria (E. coli).
Multicellular= many different types of cells living together in one
community, interdepending on each other. One cannot survive alone.
Ex. brain cells, liver cells, skin cells, etc…
