Is Vernon Gholston on steroids?

It seems like anyone who looks freakishly big and fast is accused of being steroids. I only ask cuz I think Gholston is going to be a beast in the NFL and I hope he’s not cheating, because that would be very disappointing. I’m not accusing him, but rumors always circulate.

Your thoughts?

King Leroy: I’m gonna let that statement slide. I go to Syracuse but I’ve been a lifelong Buckeye fan, don’t get it twisted. My pops played for them, they were the only team until I got to college.

  3. To be honest.. Probably about 70% of NFL players.. (minus QBs and K/Ps…) are on steroids.

    So probably more then likely, yes he is.

    Sooo many players do whatever it takes to be better at what they do and prolong their careers… If it means taking performance enhancing drugs.. then they do it.

    Im sorry if this changes your outlooks on certain players.. but its the way it is.

    And it doesnt mean they are bad people.

    But yeah I agree Vernon Gholston will be an absolute beast.

  4. Mike Mamula posted similar numbers, and I’m pretty sure he wasn’t on anything. He wasn’t very good in the pros, either.

    Sometimes those combine numbers can lie. There’s ways to get better scores without cheating or doing anything unethical, and sometimes those high scores don’t translate to anything in the real world. In a lot of ways its just like any other test, physical or like the ones you take in school. I know I got really great SAT scores but I’ll be damned if I can even figure out a street map. I think sometimes that combine numbers can be like that.

  5. i dont know about steroids, but definitely a performance enhancing drug. i think allot of guys have taken steroids 1 time or another. just because you passed a test doesn’t mean you never used it.
