Ok. So I’ve heard the dubbed quote, “Here are the thrillseekers, corrupt and immoral… too much, too often.” in the song, “Cyclone” by the Dub Pistols and “Atom Shell” by That Handsome Devil and was wondering where it was from. It sounds like an old movie or radio broadcast, I’m guessing probably 1940’s era. Thanks!
Barry Ashworth wrote those lyrics himself……
“Here are the thrill seekers, corrupt and immoral … too much, too often.” These are the opening lyrics to Cyclone, The Dub Pistols’ track penned by frontman Barry Ashworth. After experiencing first-hand the force of nature that is Barry Ashworth at Babyface last year, we can assure you that there was never a truer word spoken.”
The line is also used in the InSoc song, “I Love It When”
It was from an old propaganda film entitled, “Too Much, Too Often” about deviant sexual misbehavior among the young adults of the era.
