Does the coquito drink taste like rumchata?

I was going to make coquitos for Christmas, but should I just buy rumchata instead?

1 Answer

  1. It does not. Coquito consists of coconut milk, condensed milk and egg yolks, usually a drink served only for the winter/holiday season due to its thick consistency— like eggnog. Rumchata on the other hand is just Horchata, a milky drink made of nuts and seeds like almonds and also rice, with rum in it. Coquito usually is thicker like eggnog where Rumchata is more like milk.
